About the Association

The non-profit association “Friends of the Palazzo Davanzati and Casa Martelli Museums” was established on October 19^th 2011 to support and increase research, understanding and appreciation of the two  house-museums, which are authentic jewels of the Florentine museum system, although not well-known to the general public.

The association has offered to members and occasional visitors a broad range of cultural events over the years: lectures, concerts, acting performances took place in the extraordinary scenery of two of the most beautiful and interesting Florentine historic dwellings, while a special program of guided tours to exhibitions and museums in and out of Florence was reserved for members, actively involved in all initiatives.
